DESCRIPTION: Seth Thomas, Plymouth, Conn., Circa 1845, 30-hour time/strike steeple top shelf clock, brass, 2-wt mov't.
CONDITION: refinished mahogany and rosewood veneered case is very clean with a very small piece of veneer missing at the top of the peak. Original painted dial has some loss and repaint at the winding arbors and mounting pins. Tablet in the door are original, note the bottom tablet shows the house of Ithial Town, Esq. {house was razed in 1957}. Finials are not original. Hands are original. Movement is signed. Case lacks a label. Good running order. Ht 28.5"
